Features
Provides buttress support to the fractured lateral wall
of the Greater trochanter.
Precontoured plate with proximal thickness of 2.2 mm
and 4.0 mm thickness in the shaft of the plate. The tip
of the proximal part of the plate is beveled to prevent
soft tissue irritation.
Plate head accommodates 4 nos of 3.5 mm locking
screws and 5 nos of K-wire holes for suturing the
abductor muscles.
Oblong hole is 14mm wide and 45 mm long
accommodate any design of helical blade for femur
nail and two reconstruction lag screws of femur nail. It
also helps to adjust the height ofthe plate for various
geometry of the patient's bone.
The versatile design of plate can be used along with
any design of femur nail ie. PFN, Recon femur nail,
InterTAN nail, TFN etc.
Plate shaft peripheral region holes accommodates 3.5
mm locking screws and in the center holes accepts 4.5
unicortical screws or 4.5 mmwire mount for encirclege
wire.
