Two-Column Volar Plate Distal Radius System (VALP)

Intra & extra - articular fractures of the distal radius.

Osteotomies of the distal radius.

Two columns allow independent fine contouring of the radial and intermediate columns
Separate screw holes for fixation of radius styloid and support of lunate facet and distal radioulnar joint
Extended combi hole for plate positioning
Variable angle locking screw can be angled to 30 degree cone around the central axis of the plate hole
Four columns of threads in the locking hole provides locking at the four points between the plate and the variable angle locking screw at the desire screw length
Round shape head of the 2.4mm variable angle locking screw facilitate various angles within the locking hole.
Kirschner wire hole for temporary fixation of the plate
Combi holes for fixed angle stable locking screw fxation with angular stability in the threaded portion or compression by cortex screws in the non threaded portion
